Who to Emulate?

This week’s sermon was preached by the Rev. Sare Liz Anuszkiewicz, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY on July 15, 2018. The full text of the readings can be found here (and the sermon is taken largely from the 2 Samuel text, as opposed to the Gospel).

Shake the Dust Off

Want to let go but just can’t manage it? Trying to forgive, or get to the place where you even want to forgive? Jesus has something to say about that.

The following sermon was preached by the Rev. Sare Liz Anuszkiewicz at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY, on July 8, 2018. The full text of the readings can be found here.

The Purpose of Church

The following is a funeral sermon preached by the Rev. Sare Liz Anuszkiewicz on June 24, 2018. It was the Memorial of the Life of Nyla Wilkinson – but even if you didn’t know her, it’s a great talk about the purpose of church (which Nyla seemed to intuitively understand).

The following is a sermon preached on July 1, 2018 by the Rev. Sare Liz Anuszkiewicz. The full text of the readings can be found here. Both sermons were preached at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY.

All You Need Is Love

This Easter season there has been a definite trend in our readings – and we’ll see these exact same readings again in three years, thanks to the way our system of readings works. So here are three sermons from the Easter season on Love.

Enjoy!

There’s one more Sunday in Easter, before we’re off to Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, and then the Gone Fishing Season of the Church, which lasts until about Thanksgiving, or if you’re feeling liturgical, Advent.

During the Gone Fishing Season of the Church, look for the formation of the Trinity Church Kazoo Choir! All ages welcome, so long as you possess a sense of humor.

Lent: Cleaning Ourselves Out

What do the ten commandments, Paul encouraging a new Christian community, and Jesus’ Temple Temper Tantrum have in common? Let’s find out!
