This is a sermon from the fall of 2017 that Mother Sare preached at Trinity. Rather than try to label it with the day and readings, we offer it to you for when life is rough. It was preached directly after yet another violent tragedy (this time, a shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada), but it’s full of wisdom to refer to whenever you are in the midst of the uncontrollable chaos of pain and suffering and you can’t see your way out.
This Sunday’s sermon was on Jesus’ parable of the vineyard and the two sons.
The sermon was preached by the Rev. Sare Anuszkiewicz at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY, on October 1, 2017.
This sermon is about the difference between living a shallow life, and living a deep one – what Paul says about it, what Jesus says about it, and what we see God demonstrate.
Preached on July 16, 2017 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY by the Rev. Sare Anuszkiewicz
