When Jesus gives someone a reality check… it’s always best to bring popcorn. Unless it’s you. In which case, fasten your seat belts, make sure your tray tables and seat backs are in their upright and secure position, and brace yourself for a hell of a landing.

Jesus Wins the Coin Toss

When you invite Jesus over for dinner it’s a coin toss as to how he’s going to act. Heads, you win, and you get a charming dinner guest. Tails, Jesus wins, and he makes an example out of everything that happens, including you. And really, Jesus wins the coin toss whenever he wants to. This sermon was preached by the Rev.
