Trinity reaches out in love to the community in which we are planted, and we do that in a variety of ways. We’d love to have you join us!
Food
Trinity has a variety of feeding ministries. Our SnackPak for Kids provides backpacks full of food for the weekend during the year for eligible kids in the Warsaw Central School District, located across the street from the church.
The Pet Food Pantry, the only one in Wyoming County, is open once a month to provide supplemental food for cats and dogs (and any other pet for which we get food donated). It’s open to anyone who needs it, no questions asked.
Trinity also joins the ecumenical community in helping out St. Michael’s in their community dinners, making casseroles, and we bake pies for the inmates at the Wyoming County Jail at Thanksgiving.
Food & Companionship
Trinity really likes their coffee hours. We like them so much, we don’t limit them to Sunday! Once a month Trinity opens her doors on a Wednesday morning to offer free coffee and nibbles, a friendly face, and lively conversation to anyone who wishes to join us. We call it the Community Coffee Hour.
Children’s Literacy
Our newest outreach project sits on our front lawn: Trinity’s Little Book House. Warsaw’s first little book house is dedicated to children’s literacy. If you have a new or gently used children’s book, please feel free to clean it up and put it in the book house.
