Being Useless

Two sermons for you:

What does it mean to be properly humble? What is humility? What does Jesus do when his students are… less than humble? He taught them the value of being ‘useless’. Find out in the September 23, 2018 sermon preached at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY by the Rev. Sare Liz Anuszkiewicz. [edit: In the beginning of the sermon, Mother Sare says ‘two centuries’ when she means ‘two millennia’. Sorry.]

And a retelling of the Book of Esther, how God can use someone unlikely. God works through people, and this story reminds us that. God works even through people who might consider themselves ‘useless’. This sermon was preached on September 30, 2018, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, NY, by the Rev. Sare Liz Anuszkiewicz.
